Construction and materials: - Clinker-built hull in 6 mm mahogany marine plywood, built upside down over moulds. - All other wooden components in solid mahogany. - Floorboards in Caroline pine. - Laminated Sitka spruce oars with mahogany inserts in the blades. - All joints bonded with epoxy resin. - Three coats of epoxy resin followed by three coats of two-component polyurethane clear varnish. - Bow and stern lockers built to my own plans. - Brass fittings throughout.
